White Oak Automation & Controls LLC was founded by Ryan Abell of Milton, Vermont, bringing 17 years of hands-on experience with automation, controls, SCADA, communications, electrical systems, and power generation.

That experience includes PLC and HMI systems, industrial communications, protection systems, hydro generation controls, electrical substations, networking, field commissioning, and troubleshooting of critical control systems.

With a background that combines engineering, system design, project coordination, and extensive field experience, White Oak approaches each project with an emphasis on practical solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and built around the needs of the facility.

White Oak also provides direct technical support throughout the project. From the initial discussion through programming, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing support, customers work directly with the person responsible for understanding and developing their control system.
